TOP – Employers of Eastern Poland

During the 2nd Eastern Economic Congress in Białystok we inaugurated the “TOP Employees of Eastern Congress” project on the basis that it is worth rewarding and disseminating exemplary experiences of entrepreneurs from that region of Poland that related to the labour market, entrepreneurship and human resources. The interesting formula and particularly the results of our initiatives have made us continue the competition.

The objective of the project is identify a group of ten employers – companies from the five eastern provinces – that combine their impact on the economic development of the region with an important role on the labour market.

As in previous years, we want a winning group that includes companies managed in a modern way, committed to innovation and that are leaders in their sectors.  The assessment criteria include naturally high standards of relations between managers and employees, and the social environment in which the companies operate.

It is important that the process of identifying the winners is as objective as possible, that the group is representative in the opinion of professionals, including the authorities of Eastern Poland, who almost every day follow the operations of the companies in their respective areas.  That is why every year the following are involved in the identification of winners: local authorities of the provinces and cities/towns (marshals and mayors of provincial capitals); and representatives of organisations pursuing economic policies by attracting investors and entrepreneurship development (heads of chambers of commerce and organisations of entrepreneurs, heads of special economic zones, regional development agencies, as well as PARP, ARP, PAIH).

Previous winners include, among others, the following companies:  CEDC, PGE Dystrybucja, Danwood, Track Tec, Pronar, NSG Group, Fabryka Kotłów Sefako, Prografix, Torpol, JMP Flowers Grupa Producentów, Inglot, ML System, Malow, Kazar Footwear, Enea Połaniec, SIPMA, Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka, Pol-Inowex, Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze, Asseco Poland, SaMASZ, Unibep, Kolporter, VIVE Group, Expom and Wipasz.

The awards will be presented during the 6th Eastern Economic Congress. The competition is organised by the PTWP Group and editors of PulsHR.pl.
