Jarosław Borowski – The Mayor of Bielsk Podlaski

Born in Bielsk Podlaski

In the years 1991-1996  - studies at the Warsaw School of Economics – graduated with honors, major – administration (MA in administration). 

In the years 2008-2009  - postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics – Customer Value Management – graduated with the highest mark.

2010 – internal auditor training course in accordance with ISO 9001, finished with receiving a certificate.

01.11.1995 – 23.12.2013 – DanWood sp. z o.o. (previously UNIBUD SA, Budimex Danwood sp. z o.o.) in Bielsk Podlaski.

Initially employed as – promotion specialist, marketing specialist, capital investment specialist, marketing department manager, economy department manager,
1.03.2006 – 30.06.2006 – acting as the British market department manager,
1.07.2006 – 1.02.2007 – marketing specialist,
2.02.2007 – 31.12.2007 – British market department manager,
1.01.2008 – 30.06.2010 – sales department manager,
since 1.07.2010 – Board of Managers representative for quality management and internal control.
 Working on various positions, I have been responsible, inter alia, for:

listing the company (preparing the prospectus, contacts with regulation agencies, institutional and individual investors), and after the fusion with Budimex SA recalling the company,
preparing the marketing campaigns for the company products, developing marketing and promotional materials, preparing expositions events in various countries
managing multi-million advertising budgets in various countries,
organizing an external sales network in Poland, Great Britain, Ireland and representing the company in these countries,
conducting training courses for external sellers in terms of professional house sales,
determining the price and discount policies,
economic analyses, market researches (conducted individually and commissioned),
supervision over the ISO 9001 quality system (supervision over the documentation, conducting external audits, organizing and preparing the company for external audits).
From November 2010 to December 19, 2013 – Councilor of the Bielsk Podlaski City Council, Chairman of the Audit Committee, member of the Finance and Budget Committee and member of the Social Housing Committee.

From December 30, 2013 to November 30, 2014 – served as the Mayor of Bielsk Podlaski.

Since December 1, 2014 – took over the duties of the Mayor of Bielsk Podlaski.
