TOP MUNICIPAL INVESTMENTS OF EASTERN POLAND 2016

The PTWP Group and Portalsamorządowy.pl, organizers of the Eastern Economic Congress in Białystok, have announced the third edition of the “Top Municipal Investments of Eastern Poland” contest.

The contest is designed to identify municipal investments that have made a particular contribution to the development of the economy, the region and the residents of Eastern Poland.

We wish to highlight the best investment practices and reward those whose success has come thanks to bold pro-development decisions.

Awards will be presented at a special gala during the 3rd Eastern Economic Congress (22 September 2016, Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic – European Art Centre in Białystok).

TOP EMPLOYERS OF EASTERN POLAND 2016

Last year, the 2nd Eastern Economic Congress in Białystok inaugurated a project entitled “TOP Employers of Eastern Poland”. The interesting formula of the contest and, in particular, its results persuaded us to repeat it for this year.

The purpose of the initiative is to identify ten extraordinary employers from the five eastern voivodeships of Poland that strive to combine their influence on regional economic development with an important role in the labour market.

Just as last year, we want the winners to include companies that rely on a modern management style, support innovation and lead the fray in their sector. Assessment criteria, of course, also include high standards in the relations between managers, employers and the social environment in which they operate on a daily basis.

Nominations and suggestions will be submitted by local governments (marshals and presidents of voivodeship municipalities), as well as representatives of organizations that implement economic policy by attracting investors and developing entrepreneurship.
