Dawid Lasek – Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. Graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration and the Faculty of Management and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He worked as a Science Secretary of the Polish-French European Studies, University of Paris 13, IUT de Saint Denis. Since 2001, his professional career has been connected primarily with the Carpathian Euroregion. He was the Bureau Director and the manager of crossborder projects and since 2007 - the Vice-President. Starting from 2012, he has been the member of the Management Board of the Association of the Carpathian Euroregion Poland. He was an expert in numerous initiatives and he also managed many international projects. He has extensive experience working with Swiss partners. Within the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme he developed and implemented the Carpathian brand “Carpathia”. He was also a member of the Working Group on Sustainable Tourism of the Carpathian Convention. In 2006-2007, he served as the Director of the Department of Regional Cooperation at the Ministry of Regional Development. He speaks five foreign languages: English, French, Russian, Slovak and Ukrainian.
