I graduated as a geographer specialised in spatial and urban planning. As of 2011 I am a planner and analyst in the working organisation of the Central European Cervice for Cross-Border Initiatives, an NGO specialised in the field of cross-border cooperation. I am responsible for carrying out territorial analyses and elaborating development plans mostly related to borders and transnational regions (e.g. taking part in the Slovakia-Hungary Cross-Border Cooperation Programme or the Regional analysis of the Danube Region). In relation to tourism I conducted a study on cross-border tourism routes and border regions within the Via Carpatia EGTC. Amongst others I have also written a policy paper (Tourism as a driving force for regional cooperation across the EU – Cross-border aspects of tourism development), held a presentation on Tourism developments as tools of strengthening cross-border territorial integration, and examined European best practices regarding tourism cooperation.
